There aren’t that many woman superheroes but despite of their small number, they can take their own share of evil villains very well. One of the most famous woman superheroes from Marvel is Elektra. Elektra Natchios is a kunoichi (a Japanese term for female ninja assassin) that is known for her two bladed sai. She is said to be the world’s most deadly woman in the Marvel universe and has killed more men than any other superhero.
In the year 2003, a movie version of Elektra was released. The woman superhero is portrayed by Jennifer Garner, who really fits the bill in terms of psychical attributes as she was fresh from her stint from Alias. The movie was a conventional superhero movie that showcases wuxia-styled martial arts.
The Elektra DVD runs for 97 minutes and also contains special features that fans will surely enjoy. This includes two deleted scenes as well as Ben Affleck’s cameo appearance, the making of the movie with interviews from the main star, the official movie trailer and even Jennifer Garner’s Comic-Con presentation.
