Supergirl Limited Edition DVD (1984)

Some people, especially those who don’t read comic books, are not really familiar about Supergirl. Sure, she has the same red and blue costume as Superman but who is she?

Created by DC Comics as Superman’s female counterpart, Supergirl is actually Kara Zor-El of Argo City, Planet Krypton. She was the last survivor when the planet exploded because her father sent her to Earth just moments before the destruction. Her father dressed her up in a costume similar to his cousin Kal-El or most famously known as Superman to make her easily recognizable to her cousin.

Kara Zor-El had superpowers similar to Superman. She began helping him in various superhero duties as Supergirl in order to learn how to tame and control her abilities for good use. If you are curious as to who really is Supergirl and how she adjusted living on Earth, you must see the Supergirl movie in Limited Edition DVD.

The Supergirl Limited Edition DVD tells the story of Kara Zor-El and her transformation to Supergirl. While living on Earth, Kara adapted an alter-ego named Linda Lee. Played by Helen Slater, the Supergirl movie may not be as big as the Superman franchise but it is highly entertaining. This limited edition 2-disc DVD includes the making of the movie as well as a never-before-seen movie version. It also comes with a booklet filled with photos and interviews of the stars from the movie.
