Green Hornet was first heard on the radio in the 1930’s. The radio program was created by Fran Striker and George Trendle. Green Hornet also appeared in a few serials, movies and comic books.
Green Hornet is the alter ego of a newspaper editor named Britt Reid. As a vigilante, Britt Reid transforms himself into Green Hornet at night and fight criminals in his city with a rapidly rising crime rate. Green Hornet works with his sidekick Kato, the only one who knows his true identity. The Green Hornet and Kato partnership may not be as popular as Batman and Robin but it definitely captures your interest.
